Not exactly. You get the lamp in a flat box as a kit that you have to assemble yourself. But no worries, with our clear manuals everyone can do this!

The Mini-spot and Atmopshere lamps have E14 lamp sockets, all of our other lamps have E27 lamp sockets. We urge you to use an LED light source with an energy rating ranging from A to A++ with a maximum of 10 Watt.

Yes, you can use our lamps in combination with a dimmer. We advise (require) the use of LED lights. Make sure u use a “dimmable” LED light bulb and a LED compatible dimmer.

The length of the cord is listed under “Specifications” on the product page of the respective lamp. 

  • All table, desk and floor lamps have a cord of 1.7 meters with a switch and a C type plug.
  • All pendant lamps have 1.5 meters of cord with a ceiling rose and a cord strain.

Of course, everything is possible but we do not supply different kind or lengths of cord. You can find several on- and offline shops that sell different colored and/or longer cord sets. 

Keep in mind that we advise against altering the provided lamp socket. If you do, all warranty is void and we will not be responsible for liability claims.

Yes, the Mini-spot and Spot-nik are available as pendant lamps but only through us at this point. please send us a message with this specific question and our customer service will help you.

This can happen to anyone, but no worries. We can send you replacement parts! We supply replacement parts for free but we do ask for a contribution in shipping. 

Contact us through email with a description of the part (which lamp, what color and part) and we will help you. Adding photos is the best and helps this process to go smooth.

We ship to all countries within the EU. If you happen to live somewhere else we ask you to send us a message and we will find out if we can ship to you and at what costs.

We strive to ship your products on the day of purchase (working days – Monday to Friday). When this is not possible, we will ship it on the first working day after the day of purchase.

This depends on many key factors but, normally packages within the Netherlands will be delivered the day after shipping. Packages that go abroad usually take longer, between 3 and 8 days depending on how far it has to go.

Products you buy in our webshop will be shipped to your delivery address or local post office. A lot of the time this is free, but in some cases, we do charge for shipping. Click on the link to get an overview of the costs involved.

Yes, you do. Right after receiving your order, we will send you a confirmation email. You will find the invoice for your order attached to this email.

First of all, how annoying, and we express our sincere apologies. Please send us an email with a description of the situation. If a product arrived damaged, please also attach a picture of the damage. We will look for a solution that satisfies you.

Returns & refunds

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after the day you received your product(s) without giving any reason. Just let us know that you want to cancel your order by sending us an email. Make sure you return the product(s) in its original condition (unused and unscathed) within 14 days after you have informed us and we will refund the money minus the shipping costs.

We will give a refund within 14 days counting from receiving the returned good(s), provided that the returned good(s) are in good order.


If you’re not satisfied with a product or our service, we hope you give us the change to resolve this. We ask you to report your complaint to us by sending an email to info@van-tjalle-en-jasper.nl.

If this doesn’t lead to a solution, or if you are you not satisfied with our solution, you can register your dispute for mediation via Stichting WebwinkelKeur. For EU consumers it is also possible to register complaints via the ODR platform of the European Commission. The ODR platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/.
